Day 1 – TANGIER – TETOUAN – CHAOUEN (100 km).

Pick up by our guide at the port, airport or indicated place in Tangier at the agreed time and start of the route. Departure towards Chaouen, making an intermediate stop to get to know Tetouan, where you will get to know its medina and the most emblematic places of the city. Continuation to Chaouen, mysterious blue town, founded as a secret place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast of the country. Europeans were totally prohibited from entering the town until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chaouen and free afternoon to have a first contact with the city. Accommodation in hotel/riad.

Day 2 – CHAOUEN

Breakfast and free day to visit Chaouen, a holy city perched on the mountain, located within a natural biosphere reserve. Its streets painted white and blue, a town of wise, friendly and respectful people, offer the visitor beautiful urban panoramas in decline, precious samples of local crafts and a peace and serenity that is difficult to find today. Night in hotel.

Día 3 – CHAOUEN – FEZ (200 km).

Continuation of your trip to Fez, Imperial City whose origin dates back to the 8th century. It is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco and also proudly houses one of the oldest universities in the world. Free afternoon to rest and take a first contact with the city that will transport you to past times.

Day 4 – FEZ: GUIDED TOUR

Breakfast and guided tour of the most important places in Fez. Entering the streets of its medina (old city) you will feel that time goes back: the union structure is still present at work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow any other means of transport than donkeys and a constant swarm of people moves through the labyrinthine alleys in the middle of which you will be surprised by neighborhoods such as the Andalusian one, magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity, and continues to be the spiritual capital of Morocco. You will visit the Medina of Fez el-Bali, one of the largest preserved medieval sites in the world, declared a World Heritage Site more than 30 years ago. After the Medina, the Medersa Attarine, one of the most surprising Koranic schools in Fez. The next points on the itinerary are the Ennajarine Fountain and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, founder of Fez. Later, the Karawiyin Mosque, belonging to the Karawiyin University, the oldest in history, founded in the year 880 and, finally, you will be able to visit the Medina of Fez Jdid, the new part of the city. Day 5 – FEZ – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – MOULAY IDRISS – MEKNES (180 Km).

After breakfast, you will head west until you reach Volúbilis, the ancient Roman city where the most important archaeological remains of Morocco are found. Free time in Volúbilis to visit the area quietly. Possibility of a guided tour with a local guide to learn more about these important ruins. After enjoying the impressive Roman remains, you will be taken to Moulay Idríss, one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Morocco. It is a small town where you can get to know the most interesting parts of the medina in less than an hour. The third stop will be Meknés, the most “humble” of the Four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknés you will have free time to eat and visit the most important places in the city, delve into its souk or enjoy a coffee in the square. Dinner and hotel accommodation.

Day 6 – MEKNES – RABAT – LARACHE – ASSILAH (340 km).

Desayuno y salida hacia la Costa Atlántica, siendo Rabat la primera parada. Visita a la capital de Marruecos donde podrán conocer el Palacio Real, el mausoleo de Mohammed V, la Torre Hassan, la Kasbah Oudaya, etc… Por la tarde continuación hacia Assilah, realizando una parada en Larache, dónde visitarán y pasearán por los lugares más emblemáticos, y disfrutando de sus vistas al mar. Continuación hasta Assilah, donde pasarán la noche. Alojamiento y cena en hotel/riad en Assilah.

Day 7 – ASSILAH – TANGIER (40 km)

Breakfast and free time to enjoy Assilah, walk through its streets, visit the medina, get to know its walls, and relax with the charm of this city. At the agreed time transfer to the port, airport or place indicated in Tangier.
